l'Ouest (2016 - present) is a personal photo series portraying contrasts between the Western World-goods and a Third World country-goods, like my fathers place of birth; Baladougou (Guinea, West-Africa).
It portrays estrangement as well as humor, but you'll look at it knowing the reason they possess certain Western things is because of their lack of money. The reason the word 'poverty' isn't used is because the people there don't need a lot to be happy. Something the Westen World can learn from. It's not all about possessions.
